I was listening to the Harmonix Podcast, and at one point it was mentioned that the powers that be do have the ability to do behind-the-scenes tweaks to the game if they notice some things are out of whack once the masses start trying to break their game to get on the leaderboards.
We all know people will try to exploit to get their name on top. This is best evidenced by the fact that every time I 100% FC I Love Rock and Roll on pro drums, my 118,890 score is beaten by two people in the world, who have 800,000+ points. These scores have been around for a long time - I would imagine as a result of the pause score glitch that was fixed in an early update for RB3. But it seems the leaderboards weren't fixed.
So, my question is, if there is a decision to rebalance the poweups, do the leaderboards get wiped or rebalanced? Or will there be scores that will forever be unattainable due to changes that occur after the score was posted?
