Going back a few weeks for this...

I'll admit to a slight bias towards San Fran because of the way they play, but very quickly: two weeks, not one; not sure how the Ravens and Pats looked more dominant in losses; I don't consider the Chargers a true threat (and they lost 27-3 the next week); I'll start taking the Falcons seriously when they win a playoff game.

Anyway, they stumbled against the Vikes the next week, but I was very careful to say "look". That said, you're both right about the Texans. I wasn't totally sold because of the way they sputtered early on against my Fins, but it turns out we're not the doormat I expected to be.

They still need to get by Stanford and USC (twice), but I don't know how you pick against them from here on out. I'm interested to see if 6-10 just slide up or we see a little more shuffling.

Stanford lost to Washington, the team that Oregon just murdered. That being said, the Pac 12 isn't exactly a cakewalk.

Yeah I'm sold on Alabama. They're pretty much going to cruise to another championship, unless South Carolina stops them in the SEC title game.

    Another on-field death

I wasn't kidding when I wondered aloud whether football will even exist in three or four decades.

Also, it seems Michael Vick got a dog. I'm not sure I'm cool with that.

They already performed an autopsy on the SC high school player that died. Turns out he suffered an arythmia from being born with an enlarged heart that was never diagnosed. Football didn't (in and of itself) cause his death, although it's possible it was a contributing factor if only from the stress.

Looks like I was wrong about the Seahawks losing to Carolina. Their Defense played lights out against Cam Newton.

That being said, next week vs New England will be bad for Seahawks fans. Tom Brady will carve that D apart like a thanksgiving turkey, much like he does to every defense.

Dolphins won. We're dandy as long as we can stay out of overtime

The Andrew Luck legacy started today. The Broncos/Patriots game kept mentioning about the Manning/Brady rivaly being the longest running head-to-head QB rivalry in the history of the sport, so (fingers crossed) I'm hoping Luck and Tannehill can break that record years from now

The thing is that he would've died the same way if he ran track or played soccer

I'm sorry, is that okay? You sure? Ha, alright. Okay. Sorry though

Losing to OU how we did sucks. However, I feel as though we will bounce back and give WVU some trouble. No one has had issues scoring on them, and I don't feel as though we should have any problem with that. Getting a few stops will be very important and I don't know if we can do that.
