Its something though. Well it was in the past but nowadays most people know what breast cancer is and thats its bad. I think its better for them to do this pink thing than nothing at all.

I'm not so sure. But I've already said why.

But at least with what they are doing now one person could come out of it and do something with the other way that is impossible.

Donations are the same as they ever were before the major sports leagues started doing this stuff.

Fair enough, and I absolutely agree that the "I'm wearing pink, so I'm doing something meaningful and don't need to do anything else" crowd is really doing nothing.

Regardless, breast cancer is something that people should be informed about. If it takes something like a rather silly gimmick to get football announcers to talk about it on TV, thereby reaching tons of people, then so be it. I suppose just saying "breast cancer" rather than "breast cancer awareness" (and its connections to a movement, rather than the disease itself) would have better conveyed my meaning.

A few of the Bears still wear shoes that are "against the dress code". The orange shoes are apparently a no-no.

I am all for monies for the breast cancer. Pink flags, gloves, etc. Don't do anything really.

I was at my cousins little league game and they were all wearing pink gloves, socks, etc.

    Lame.

In other news, my beloved Red Raiders decided to forget they were playing a good team on the road and got pounded. I'm a bit drunk after having to watch that.

However, it's time to get the hate festering for the Longhorns coming to town next weekend.

Hope all of your teams did not suffer similar fates.

That's the only fate my team has suffered this year. Man...I miss Tubberville more and more every week.

On another note, did anybody outside of the state of Mississippi actually think Miss State would compete with Alabama? I didn't.
