Frank Gore's comments just reinforce a sad trend in the NFL of being the sore loser. Packers said the same **** during the NFC Championship game against the Giants. show some ****ing class...bad calls and human error are part of the game.

Apparently the 49ers as a team are complaining about the officiating in the Super Bowl. I don't know why they're complaining about it since the refs merely let the two teams play. It wasn't the one sided officiating that was seen in Super Bowl XL and it sure wasn't the atrocious officiating that one sees every April-June during the NBA playoffs.

Hah, I was going to post something about that and got to doing other things. I always love it when players use the old "We're the better team" line. So fun.

I'm glad the refs let the guys play. There was nothing egregious about any of the calls, they just let them play football.

I'm not a Nascar fan, but it's definately a sport. The conditioning to be able to drive a car at those speeds for that long, let alone the reaction and agility needed to control a car at those speeds is definitely a physical gift as well as a mental one.

On the other hand, I think it's funny how NASCAR is popular at a time when fuel prices are so high and people want us to conserve energy.

In football news, the Jacksonville Jaguars unveil a hideous new logo.

That logo is pretty meh. I wonder if they're going to change the uniforms as well.

And Flacco's agent wants to get pai...I mean, wants Flacco to get paid.

A fun quote: "Flacco, 28, is younger than Peyton Manning ($18 million) and Drew Brees ($20 million), and, as of Sunday, has as many Super Bowl titles as each of them. Linta said those are the numbers that matter.

"When you do a contract of this magnitude, you look at what is the player's body of work presently," Linta told CNBC. "And what are the expectations going forward over the next four, five or six years.

    "Joe wins on both accounts."
