Again, you're being ignorant whether you realize it or not (which probably not). You have to be joking when you say Nascar requires zero athleticism. Most, if not all, the drivers in Nascar follow strict physical fitness programs so their bodies are prepared to sit in a 100+ degree stock car for 4 straight hours all the while racing and competing with the other cars on the track and extreme multi-tasking unheard of in any other sport. That is physical exertion for you and I'd wager probably about 75% of the NFL couldn't handle racing a stock car for that long with little breathing time. The amount of mental and physical skill it takes to hit your marks perfectly every lap without making a mistake is not much different than a receiver/QB timing a pass or a baseball player timing a fastball to hit, they're the same form of athleticism just different scenery. And yet you continue to say it's not a sport so I digress.

You ever play golf? You hold a club, twist your hips and hit a ball. About 3 seconds tops of physical exertion, and then hop on a golf cart and do it all over again. More of a leisure activity than a sport and nowhere near the amount of physical exertion there is in a professional stock car race.

You ever see someone playing golf out of breath? I sure as hell haven't, it's the favorite 'sport' for old/rich people for a reason, but yet watch how winded and sweaty a Nascar driver is after a race and then talk to me about physical exertion and what is and isn't a sport.

Has anyone ever died or gotten seriously injured during a round of golf?

...I mean besides a spectator getting hit with the ball?

I'd imagine people have had heart attacks on the golf course.

Don't forget about the stroke victims, crocodile/alligator attacks, and the rare circumstances of people getting struck by lightning on the golf course.

That's literally the only thing I can think of, but I'm sure it doesn't ever happen to the pros.
