just read that Pat Summeral passed. personally, nothing was better than listening to Pat and John on Sunday afternoons, as annoying as Madden could be sometimes.

Late in his career, Madden was annoying. Earlier, he was the best, and Pat was good at the no frills call.

yeah, his appeal dropped big time after he went over to ABC with Michaels. still, Madden at his worst still beats ****ing Joe Buck and Troy Aikman

I mostly like what the Bears did. I don't follow college enough to have any real dogs in the draft other than that. Bears get 2 Linemen, 2 Linebackers, and a DE and WR. Would have liked them to have traded down and gotten more for the first rounder, but we'll see how they do this year.

Hated the Jets draft and the overall direction the franchise is veering towards.

So you don't think they're going to install a 2 QB at the same time offense? They could with their roster now. They have enough QBs. Or at least people who think they're QBs...

Decent draft I guess for the Falcons. Wish they would've gone after one of the 2 top tight ends but the pass defense needed some serious help so I guess I can't blame them for drafting 2 DBs at the start.

Haha, my dad and I joked about this last offseason when they acquired Tebow. Just confuse defenses by never revealing who it will be snapped to.

On a more serious note, this offseason has been a disaster. Tebow is still on the roster (at this point, just cut him), they trade Revis, and still leave a lot of holes after the draft. I do like the trade for Chris Ivory, though. Hopefully he'll be productive in a starting role.

NFC West loaded up, particularly Rams and Niners. thats gonna be a fun division to watch.

liked the Giants draft, though the Nassib pick was a bit unorthodox, if not unusual. seems like theyre banking on that 4th round pick eventually netting them a 1st pick in a future trade. not sure thats a sound draft strategy, but it'll be fun to watch him develop. Plus as a Cuse fan I have to love this pick and the Pugh pick.
