I am still looking for confirmation for this question: you can only start a Score War via the Rock Band World app with someone that is:
1) on the same console as you
2) linked their game to the app (happens automatically if they've linked RB3 to the app already)

AND

3) is your friend on Facebook
[4?) and also is your friend on PS3]

I have several people on my friends list on the PS3 that are playing Blitz, but none of them are Facebook friends, and thus my "pick a friend to challenge" drop-down menu is empty.

Also, I can't recruit people to help me finish a challenge (which isn't console-specific?), since that's done by sending a request to Facebook friends only, right? Does it send them a message inside the app, or post something to their wall (which can be seen by all their friends)?

If you go to the recommend blade in game you'll see a recommend you start a score war with person x on song x.

So if you're looking for the achievement/trophy that's the way to do it. It's totally random and you can't change the options it gives you. Unless you go out and come back in I guess.

The only way to pick the person and the song is to do it via Rock Band World as far as I can tell.

I haven't noticed it in here, but maybe mention something about goals being playable in RB3 too? and the you can't repeat a song for the same goal. Maybe under a "My goals aren't unlocking/songs haven't shown up under goals menu"

i will add that, although i have heard something about not all goals being able to be played in RB3.
so if someone can confirm/deny this and tell me how people will be able to tell if you can or can't, then i'll gladly add it =)

It will say "Play songs from:BLAH" and if it says Blitz and Rock Band 3 that means you can play it in either.

I know the parenthetically speaking goal can be obtained without some of the dlc because of this, but as WWW1221 just mentioned, it'll say on rock band world wether or not it can be done in RB3

Gonzo doesn't count towards the goal for some reason. Not sure why.....
