Nicely done...that reminds me that I need to go back and replay the RB1 songs with Jack/Flame. For that matter, I need to replay over 1,000 other songs with Jack/Flame too. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that Rock Band Blitz is an entirely different game with Jack/Flame.
Got the final achievement - 300 different songs played.
I have realized I will never become good enough to become part of the Jack/Flame Elite, sadly.

With that attitude you won't. You will never be good at blitz with that kind of attitude. I got pretty proficient at using Jack/Flame but I didn't just start out good. Actually I was really below average when the game was released compared to most players. It took me 2 weeks or so to be able to Gold Star the setlist. Now I am Top 3 on 25/25 blitz songs on ps3 and 1st place on about half of them on PS3. It was a lot of work and effort to get this good at the game, but I managed to get there and still have a ton of room for improvement. I wouldn't consider myself a naturally good player at all.
Keep practicing and build your skill there. Start on slower songs and build up from there. You will destroy your older scores in just mere weeks. I promise.
On a victory note I got 762k on Shout and 530k ish on Pumped Up Kicks.![]()

I've gold-starred all my songs. About 900 songs.
I think the worst two were Tuesday's Gone and Story of my Life.

Slow songs can be really awesome with Flame notes, as long as there aren't enormous gaps between parts dropping in and out. Sometimes you can get screwed by hitting a flame note and it spreads the next one to a lane that doesn't have any notes for like 60 measures, and by then your Jackpot will be extinguished.
There are a few songs that have some pretty crazy combination of sparse note distribution and really slow overdrive burn. I can't remember exactly what it was, but there was one where I basically had Jackpot running the entire song hitting flame notes. My entire score was virtually all wrapped up in that one Jackpot activation (I think it was around 300,000.) It would have been pretty hilarious if I had blown it at the end.
I completed the Grohl Goal solo. I don't think I'll be playing any Foo Fighters for a while.
