Small victory, Gold Star'd a song without power-ups. I thought it was nice.

Do you mind sharing which song? Even songs that I GS with minutes to spare with powerups (like Master/Slave) I don't even get near GS without.


My accomplishment last night: back to back sightread GSes of 5-lane songs. For me, GSes are rare - I only had 7 before this. Sightread GSes are exceptionally rare, and GSes of 5-lane songs are equally rare (my first 7 GSes were all 4-or-fewer-track songs, and were all at least a 2nd play of said song).

The songs were Coldplay's "Fix You" and "The Scientist". Pretty easy songs all told, but it's still a confidence boost to SRGS anything, much less 5-lane songs - and to do that twice in a row is like breaking out of a batting slump with back-to-back grand slams. Even if it is in the most home-run-friendly park in the league.

I actually had 2 victories this week.

The first was when I had the #1 overall PS3 score for "Shadows of the Night," scoring over 251,000. Although that record would fall a couple days later.

And the second was achieving total victory. Although it sucks not getting a gold or platnum trophy, despite getting a 100% trophy record.

Nice job on that Zage. I have only been able to score 4 stars on anything to date, but I am improving slowly and taking over some of my friends scores. So...I guess that's my victory for the week. Also I really like your avatar. Made me smile.

4*? You are using powerups right? Make sure that you are trying to raise the multipliers especially in the 1st half of any song. Once you get the hang of it you should 5* songs like nothing and even GS quite a few.

Got 2 more #1 spots, so now I got the #1 spot for Nur ein Wort, Subdivisions, and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. Woooo! I think there was one more but I'm not sure.

Had a decent run on Ride The Lightning. Managed to FC the big solo . 3rd on Rock Band World app
