    How to get 5 stars?

I've played Rock Band since Rock Band 1, and I have around 800 songs in my collection, and I can FC around 80%+ of them on guitar. However, I'm having trouble getting 5 stars on songs on Blitz, I just want to know if I'm doing things right. I try getting each lane to its maximum multiplier, and obviously try to keep combo (blitz mode) for as long as possible, but I seem to not even get 5 stars (are there even gold stars in this game? I'm using 2x multiplier and the drum buffs, sometimes the flame one if I have the coins to get it. What am I doing wrong?

sounds to me like you have the wrong set of powerups. This game is hard to 5 star stuff if you don't have the right ones.

I normally just put on Pinball, and play pinball. I have gold stars on most songs (except Wicker Man!!!)

Replace guitar with Bass or Vocals and that was my set up for golding Stronger. Road Rage and Blast Notes are THE power up for a vast majority of songs. Obviously easier songs with MUCH less notes wont be as good with these power ups.

The easier songs with fewer notes are the ones that can be crushed with Jackpot.
