This is true, but what you will find is that most score wars that you get are not from the pre-packed 25 song list. Once again everything depends on how much MONEY you have spent.

I know Zage and consider him a good friend, He has gotten a ton of score war challenges and honestly most of the songs he does NOT own.... It's not fair that he has to be penalized for this.

Before you say anything yes I know when you create a score war it will show you if the person has the song or not. Bottom line is either people don't pay attention to this or they just don't care.

That just means he needs to submit more score wars

I've yet to get one for a song I don't own (I do own over 900, so have over 800 in blitz), but I get them for random people.

Score Wars would only be useful if you got coins from the forfeit. 1% of the Score Wars I send out are even completed, so I just stopped doing it

No flippin' kidding. I never get challenged to score wars, persay, but I always challenge others. Out of the, oh, I'd say 250 SWs I've done I've gotten six challenges to my scores. Yeah, six. And they've all been to DLC songs that not many people have. It's incredibly frustrating to me. Plus, the thing is, even if you get gold stars with using all the powerups (providing it's not a new song), you only get added to your account 50 coins. (Don't know if that's been mentioned in the thread before, sorry if it has.) I only have one friend that plays Blitz, but he hasn't played for the past few days, so I can't really challenge him to many SWs.

I just got Precious Medal today. I used to have a bunch of coins (a bunch meaning something like 30k), from when I had a bunch of songs I hadn't played yet, but now, I think I have something like 1.4k coins. It's just silly. As Zage said, the way to get coins is by playing new songs, and to play new songs, you need new DLC. I am running fast out of songs to play to boost my coins. I don't have the money, really, to buy new songs. I have other necessities besides Blitz to take care of. I just want to play the game for enjoyment, not for concern that I don't have enough coins to perform a song with powerups.

Or completing goals. Or playing songs from the artist who is being released as DLC that week (but since we've had a bunch of first timers lately, that hasn't been possible as much). Or (oh my gosh, no) doing a run with less than all three powerups activated.

Completing goals is a drop in the bucket compared to the first time scores, and you need to have a hefty number of additional DLC songs to even have a chance at completing a great number of them. Sure, technically you could join others, but some people just don't like Facebook and don't want to have to jump through a bunch of hoops just to be able to play a game as intended. And playing songs without powerups, when you're at the high level of people like Zage and iamchris4life, is just a complete and utter waste of time. It would not be much unlike playing a Call of Duty game without bullets in your gun.

I added people as friends on my PS3 account based on how much DLC we shared (as recorded by DLCquickplay.com). So I've had relatively good luck sending and receiving Score Wars that both people can accept. Though "relatively good luck" meant that I had less than a 20% hit rate in the first month that Blitz came out. Fewer people are playing the game now, mostly just the people that will destroy my scores every single time. I haven't played much Blitz at all since XCOM came out, but I just accepted my first Score War in a while this weekend (and actually won, wow).

Whoa, the goals that I have to choose from have really piled up while I was gone. I checked off two new goals last night by playing RB3 with some friends, just playing whatever we felt like, with no thought at all to the active goals. Coins spent: zero.

Total Song Library = 1,010 songs, including ALL games and track packs that can be exported into RB3
