Cipher being Cipher. Classic. Is it bad that I find Cipher's posts to be such a riot?

You can't speak for whether or not I loved it or not, and I can tell you from personal experience that I did. There were too many songs to keep track of, everything was brand new and unfamiliar, etc etc.

and I didn't want to risk playing a song I wasn't sure I liked. So I played one of those 3.
Risk? It's a risk to play a song you don't really enjoy? Would the mob cut off one of your mother's fingers everytime you play a song you don't like?

One night of RB2 online with randoms would have left my mother with nothing but stubbs.

Not at all. I made an entire thread in LRMT devoted to Cipher's meshugaas. A splendid time is had by all Except that one guy who shows up every few weeks to say the thread needs to be shot in the head or something.

They have different names, but as with most people, I'm horrible with names. I forget names of songs immediately after I listen to them, and when I was playing through all of my DLC/imports one after the other, the names just came and went. Nothing was absorbed. And yes, risk. I don't like my time being wasted. I only wanted to play songs that I guarantee that I enjoy, and even now I do that (unless I'm playing a song on an instrument that I haven't played it on). Thanks to the lighter system, I now can distinguish easily between the songs I love and the songs I hate and have a large variety of music to play.
