Bandmate + Super Instrument

Does the 2x multipler for Super Instruments work when the Bandmate is playing that track? I've noticed that the score total for Super Instruments when a Bandmate has played that track primarily seem very very low, but maybe it's folded into the Bandmate score calculation and not the Super Instrument calculation?

(Apologies if this has been asked before, I wasn't able to find anything with search.)

I have heard that the Super Instrument bonus doesn't apply when the Bandmate is playing the track, but I don't know for sure. Also, the multiplier for Super Instruments is only 1.5x.

You get the Super <instrument> multiplier for any notes the Bandmate hits, but the number that comes up under Super <instrument> after the song will only relate to the notes you hit yourself. All points earned by the Bandmate powerup, on a Super <instrument> track or elsewhere, will go under Bandmate.
