In my opinion the new version of Why Can't We Be Friends sounds lousy in comparison to the original. Why do so many current bands think they can improve a classic by playing it faster? I was just listening to some crappy Eagles cover on the radio last week.

improve? people cover songs for 2 reasons: to pay tribute to the original, or as an easy way to get money.
