I have to agree with this. Working from home has it's perks, no doubt. Meeting and talking with people outside of work ain't one of them.

After this, I told myself I would stop getting so attached to my awesome Rock Band pals. But I've told myself to do lots of things that I never ended up doing.

1 bad ending doesn't mean all the other endings will be bad as well.

I haven't interacted with many people through RB (I think DerLindwurm is the only one I've played online with more than once through here, and he's an awesome dude), so I can't say I've made any sort of strong friendship bonds through Rock Band.

I have, however, made quite a few strong friendships that have lasted 10+ years through a few other online games, specifically Everquest and Unreal Tournament. They've been some really great friends as well.

I think one of the great things about the internet is your ability to interact with various people from around the globe, and in doing so forming friendships with great people whom you might not have had the chance to meet pre-computer days.

I <3 my friends, made through both IRL and virtual connections.
5+ years, 4,000+ songs, 1 awesome developer. Thank you!

Thanks Numskull. I love this!!! Thanks for reminding us that relationships, even online, or in the game, are real and can be beneficial at times for however long they last. I have "friends" at the bottom of my ps3 friends list as well. I Haven't spoken or played with them in forever ( dlc doesn't match up well, they play games I don't) ....but I just can't delete them. Every so often I'll pop in and say hey..and ask how they're doing, just to let them know they're not forgotten. No one likes to be forgotten

Oh and just for the record...I love all you guys too! You make me smile.
