RockBandRocker: We will all migrate to the Dance Central forums. It will be like Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt.
Munnchy: Only Flashier, with impeccable dance moves.
RockBandRocker: With more glitter and glam. We will survive

Some of it may be because a lot of RB players don't play rival music games (or as often). Muse has a few tracks available in the GH series and yet we only have one. On the flip side that is more than a lot of artists end up getting a slice of the action.

IMO, my likeness for this band has gone right down now. Their new album is the worst album they've ever made. I still like the classic Muse tracks from Origin of Symmetry and BH&R though.
Come on lets give these 5 artists some DLC love please!

    Bruce Springsteen
    Mumford and Sons
    Fine Young Cannibals
    Ocean Colour Scene

I can only add A Perfect Circle to #54. The others all have been already listed.

So sad to see Deep Purple over #300.

Looks like the list has already shifted, as it shows Static-X at 147 above, but I see The Tragically Hip at 147 today.

    The Tragically Hip - 147
    Wilco - 222
Porcupine Tree - 78 (Oops, someone else already claimed it above)

And since I posted this ten minutes ago it's shifted again. Right now Tragically Hip is 148, Static-X is 145.

How often do they recompute these things?

People want what they cannot have.

There's no way to keep this list totally up to date (the rankings seems to adjust dynamically as people re-allocate their points) but getting a rough-cut of how the top 250 looks right now would be pretty damn cool. Once you've got 250 different bands listed in (approximately) the right order, I would suggest updating it no more than once a month. You'll go crazy if you try and keep track of every time artist #170 moves up to #165.

I suggested this mostly as a joke, but not totally as a joke, and it brings a tear to my eye every time I see people even more obsessive than I am jump into this kind of project.

121 is Andrew W.K.? On mine anyway, so maybe the adding subtracting points to figure out bands might not be a good idea.

    32 - Arctic Monkeys

    139 - Streetlight Manifesto

    230 - Toadies

    250 - Misfits

    (Best I got)
