Looking for rock bands

Dear everyone,

I absolutely do not know anything about rock. I've never listened rock. I need your help!

I listened this track:

I would like you all to help me to find some rock bands which sing as this guy (Rivers Cuomo) ; I'd like many as possible!

I think it's "skate & surf" spirit. I like the groove which make me feel in holidays I appreciate the "color" of the sound.

If you have anything, do not hesitate to give me some links! More I'll have, better it will be!

Well, if it's Rivers Cuomo you like, I recommend checking out his rock band Weezer, more specifically, their stuff from Make Believe on, as they're the more commercially accessible Weezer albums. If you really like what you hear, move on to the Green Album, the Blue Album, and then Pinkerton.

This will probably get moved to either "History of Rock" or "Less Rokk More Talk" And, uh, sonicnerd pretty much told you what you need to know. Cuomo fronts the band Weezer. He's also released some stuff as a solo artist (meaning, under his own name and no one else's).

Go to pandora.com and make a station for "Weezer." It should be a great starting place for you. You can get a feel for the music you like and that you don't.

Yeah he's from Weezer. They have a bunch of good songs like "Island in the Sun", "Say it ain't So", "If You're Wondering If I Want To (I Want You To)" and "Perfect Situation"
