Which of the other games do i need to bump up the music collection so im not just playing tears for fears over and over?

Rock Band 1 you can buy used. Rock Band 2, Lego Rock Band, and Green Day Rock Band have export codes if you buy a new copy. Also buy track packs.

Rock Band 1, 2, Lego and Green Day are all exportable with various takes on the soundtrack, so you should check out which ones have songs you like and export them. It costs a small fee to export the tracks from each game though but it's still pretty good value considering the vast amount of songs you get from each export. The game box track packs (which includes that AC/DC one that is not buy-able as DLC) can also be exported and I believe those are exportable for free.

Outside of that there is always the music store. Some of the bigger packs/albums have a lot of songs for a relatively small price and is worth it if you like the bands.

There's also a music store that sells DLC separate from the on-disc songs of RB1, RB2, Lego and Green Day: RB.

Not yet they haven't. It starts when the consoles update for the new DLC tomorrow.
