However, if he already played approximately 98% of the songs, would it be in someone else's best interest to join his goal only to get 2% of the possible coins?
I'd do it (I have no intention of completing the setlist in 7 days, coins mean bubkus now anyway, and I'd be able to get one more badge and completed goal for playing one song? Works for me.), if only I knew how to join someone else's goal. Would I need to facebook friend him (er, probably a her)? Does it matter if we're on the same platform (I'm PS3)?

I would love to join other people's goals, but Rock Band World is not letting me.

I figure I have to decide in the first few hours of each week whether or not I should invite others into my goals, since by then what few Blitz friends I have on Facebook will have already started (completed?) them all by themselves. The only one I got to share in was the Grohl Goal, which worked out great. I had all the Nirvana, and almost no Foo Fighters, and I asked at just the right time to join in with someone who happened to be in the opposite situation. Also it was before they fixed the "play on RB3 and Blitz for double credit" bug...

I should have joined in on the RB2 goal (no WAY I want to grind through that many songs solo) but it's too late now.

I managed to snag a 2nd DLC code off of my moms facebook/PSN account at about 11PM last night. Add that to the DLC code I got on my own accounts and I got:

Black Sabbath - War Pigs (cover)
    Jethro Tull - Hymn 43
    Paramore - Crushcrushcrush
Tom Petty - American Girl (live)

Thanks Harmonix! Hope to see more DLC codes (ps3) given away in the future.

Does not compute. You like Tull, Sabbath, and Petty... but you didn't already have Hymn 43 from the Classic Rock Track Pack?

I also got War Pigs with half of my 'prize' (breaking my former "no generic covers" rule). The other half went to finally getting Moonage Daydream - which I initially held out on hoping for an RB3-version (like I did for Under Pressure) but at 99c and with it pretty clear that RB3 versions were not forthcoming I could wait no more.

Please confirm for the record that, if an RB3 version came out for this song next week, you would be thrilled about it, buy it right away, and not feel dumb at all for "wasting" .99 on the legacy version. (Or maybe you want to deny this...)

I would be thrilled about it, I would buy it right away, I'd just probably find myself wishing I had sequenced my purchases slightly differently and I'd have one more permanent-rotation song instead of the newly-obsolete one.

"Wishing" in the same sense as when I reach into a bag of candy and pull a blue one I wish I had pulled an orange one. It's not exactly a cure-for-cancer level wish.

So which version of Mama Tried is supposed to work? I didn't have the RB2 version, so I bought the RB3 version and have played it about 4/5 times without it showing up. The other 3 songs have shown up already and I definitely have gold starred it each time.

Looks like there are still some X-Box codes left from the Free DLC Code Challenge. I just did it about 30 minutes ago and got a code.
