Freezing issue in RB Blitz (tied to # of songs played?)

If it's true that the songs still are recorded on the server, then I wonder if there's any significance to that.

There is a lot of discussion internally about how much data is generated and saved in game versus what is generated and stored server side, what you see mirrored in RB World. How the two communicate is obviously an issue at play here and we have our Net team working with QA to get to the nitty gritty.

What I am wondering is that if this does not get fixed soon, does HMX plan to offer the people with the crash with something?

We do hope to have a fix soon, and the plan is to roll that out manually to the affected users in this thread first. You're the first affected and you'll be the first to receive a fix.

Beyond that, we're talking about what else we can do in the way of codes or swag. We'll do everything we can to take care of you guys.

So I guess all I can do now is wait and pray that the fix in the works pans out. Hmxhenry, should I even bother opening a support ticket or is this post effectively good enough?

A support ticket isn't necessary at this point since info provided in this thread is more than helpful. All the right people are aware of the issue and reproductions and tests for a fix are currently in the works.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned (I have only had time to skim read through the thread) but could this bug be linked to the Facebook app? Does anyone have this problem who are NOT on FB?

We're testing repro on both linked and unlinked accounts, but it is unlikely that connection to RB World has any affect. Save file data, song play info and other relevant info is sent server side whether you are linked to RB World on now, the app just makes it more visible.
