    Some non-DLC toughies

    Painkiller
    Panic Attack
    Bodhisattva
    Highway Star
    Welcome Home
    Train Kept a Rollin'

Sooo... anyone wanna try gold staring these?
I'll take it Genesis, ELO, Pink Floyd, Metallica, and Journey are out of the question...?

Painkiller, Panic Attack, and Bodhisattva are really easy to gold star.
I can't speak for RB1 songs since I no longer have the export.
Welcome Home you pretty much have to use Jackpot and use it on the sustains after the solo.

I don't remember having much trouble with any of those except maybe Painkiller, but I think that was just because I didn't use Jackpot on that song. I think I got the Gold Stars by skipping the drum solo and holding the long guitar sustain that goes all the way through it. If I had Jackpot, it would have been a cakewalk.

Welcome Home I knew in advance to use Jackpot on the sustains so that wasn't too bad.

Okay, finally managed to GS those songs. I must be having a far more difficult time with these songs than everyone else.

Painkiller took 9 tries, each time about 10-1k away from the cut-off using Jackpot, Bombs, Guitar. I am officially sick of this song. 2/10 would not play again. (In response to Epsilon82: Hardest cakewalk ever.)

Panic Attack took 5 tries, mainly because of the stupidly fast left-left-right pattern using Jackpot, Bombs, Guitar

Bodhisattva took 3 tries. Dat Guitar kept me from achieving easier victory. See Panic Attack combo

Highway Star took only 2 tries. Did manage to get lucky. Ended up getting my GS from the finale. See Bodhisattva combo... erm...

Train Kept a Rollin' took 2 tries, using the same combo. Really weird, because I was using the same combo the other day to try and GS this song, and ended up with about 8 failures. Seriously, wat.

I tried the Jackpot-on-sustain tactic for Welcome Home 4 times to no avail. On my 4th try, the loading screen showed that one tip of bandmate and flame notes working well together. I said "why not?" after failing the get the GS, tried said combo, and managed to finally GS Welcome Home.

Bah. I'm tired. My thumbs hurt from playing Painkiller all afternoon. Is that considered ironic?

Jackpot Blast Notes and Super Guitar

Hit every blast note you see. They will keep your multiplier up and give a ton of points!

Activate: Chorus 1 and continue to hold a streak and FC Solo 1(solo is really short and fairly easy)
Activate: Verse 2..you don't want to have Jackpot activated during the 2nd chorus because you will have to hold a combo during solo 2.
Activate: at the end of solo 2(the end isn't that difficult)
Activate: the outro(where the speaker yells Stop now what this country can do for you)

You should GS no problem. You might even break 400k! Or you can use Point Doubler instead and use it for all of Solo 2 and mash your way to the GS.

This was a sightread, and my very first time even hearing the song.

Jackpot,Blast Notes, and Super Guitar works just fine apparently.

I managed to GS it. It's pretty simple with good Pinball Usage and either Road Rage or Point Doubler. Someone already GS'd it on the 360 though before me. I don't think Riptide Resort is possible to gold without either Pinball or Jackpot/Flame. It's definitely impossible with Blast Notes. The cut-off is over 475k

I also got The Thief in the Night Part 1.(1st GS). I used Super Keys and used a full jackpot load on Keys at the start of the solo. Think the cut-off was around 1065-1070k
