Are you telling your non-plastic-instrument gaming friends about Blitz?

This one has me curious as I have had a few friends over that are NOT plastic axe types and they dug Blitz and picked it up.

While we are the minority of Rock Band players here we are the most vocal so... are you using that voice?

Have you been able to get any non Rockbanders Blitzing or maybe pulled some Rock Band players out of retirement?
All I am offering is the truth... nothing more...

This is difficult to answer. I wrote a review for my university's community magazine, which has a fair reader base, so I guess I'm telling people of Blitz when that issue gets published. But friends is a bit of a misnomer.

The only friend I regularly keep in contact with is well aware of Rock Band as a franchise and all that happens in it, and has bought some DLC this year, but he's currently saving his money for a trip over to the Eastern states.

I literally drilled blitz info into my friends head since it got announced... He loved it.

I count this as a success, even if it was just one person.

Blitz has gotten me back into Rock Band. I bought it after playing the demo, which I downloaded on a lark (I had zero interest up until then). I've convinced at least one to buy. I'm having a blast, and while it's not the deepest game, it is just a great way to enjoy my RB library.

    Ahhh...Ninja'd.

You might consider telling the next telemarketer that calls you. That should, at the very least, get them to shut up. Could be very entertaining, and they'll probably never bother you again.

Oh...I forgot to add, I tell everyone that gives me any indication they might be interested in music. My family and friends in my neighborhood already know I'm a RB fanatic. They just roll their eyes knowing I will keep them informed of all things Rockband.

Though with me it's really "Yes and I'm telling them to not buy it because you have to be connected online all the time to actually do anything and as usual every review fails and doesn't mention this or take points off for this piss poor design. Oh and the soundtrack is near entirely trash too so since you don't have any songs already you won't much like it." but there wasn't an option for that.

Just because I'm telling them about it doesn't mean I'm saying good things.
    Why are you still here?

I mentioned it to the group that I was playing Rock Band with on Sunday, and they all seemed very confused. "Why would you want to play Rock Band with just a simple controller?" I didn't push the issue, especially since only one of them owns a PS3 or 360. They are all fairly new to Rock Band and are always eager to have me bring my equipment over.

I have one friend that owns Rock Band 3 and was willing to add the Facebook app, so she's getting Blitz tonight after I hand her a gift card with PSN funds. Will she play it? I sure hope so!

My cousin was very curious to see the new trophies from Blitz appear on my Facebook page, but she owns Rock Band 3 on the Wii so she just felt teased by the news.

Total Song Library = 1,010 songs, including ALL games and track packs that can be exported into RB3
