Once Bitten Twice Shy, Death on Two Legs, Jungle Boogie. All 70's songs.
Once Bitten Twice Shy by Great White is an 80's song. Late 80's, in fact.

Ian Hunter did it originally, in the 70's, but that is not what we got.

Not fair. The Great White cover we got is from 1989.

I'm not saying those acts (or any of the other largely interchangeable 2010s pop/rock bands) are without their fans. It's just we should never in a million years expect a new artist to be Genesis or Frank Zappa or Clapton or somebody. Because it's just not gonna happen.

And before henry jumps in with a "five straight years of DLC you negative nancies!" post, yes, I'm very, very grateful for so much DLC. It is awesome beyond belief that we're still getting anything at all. And chances are somewhere in the endless stream of 2000s and 2010s acts, I'll find something I can tap my toe to. But it's human nature to pine for bygone better days, and be wistful for what's out there.

Blarg. All I did was Wikipedia the setlist. (Obviously) didn't look that hard.

    But the other two, then.

First... key word in your post is "A".

Second, "Jungle Boogie" isn't what I am looking for and is not fun to play on anything that I play.

I just don't understand how an entire era of amazing music can get ignored like this for soooooo long.

"Death on Two Legs" was released in November 1975. I know I'm right about this one!

Well...I'm sure you *do* understand it, you just don't like the reason. It's sales numbers. When a song like "Fireflies" is one of the best-selling DLC's of the year...ehhh, yeah.

Well it sounds like the kids like 311. Maybe it will bring in some new players. Unless we can get more people our age to play, we may have to accept that we aren't going to get much of what we like. As long as we get something we like once in a while, while bringing in new players with stuff like 311 most of the time, it's better than nothing.
