And 3% is *overstating* the 70s content lately. It's been 3 tracks of the past 136. It was 30% of the RB3 disc. 40% of the first year of RB3 DLC. 15% of DLC before that (several points higher if you count 90s+ live editions and rerecords as the year of original publication). But under 3% recently.
You overestimate our fanbase as well. Haven't we been told time and time again that we're about 1% of the fanbase?

We bought that Fireflies tune too and I hate it. Hubby tends to buy everything, but the kids don't; so they cater to them. Won't help to stop being such loyal fans and buying the stuff you don't like though cuz then they will just go out of business and we won't ever get anything we like then.

Your point being that precisely no one who isn't a forum regular pines for classic rock and prog?

Yep, though I hope it is not just HMX saying we don't like 60's/70's music anymore! I am hoping there is more to it, like Bands not being agreeable or masters being unavailable.

Still it's really sad to see all the great 60's and 70's music being ignored or passed over for more nu metal or whatever....I do like one song from 311, Down, but I would take more older music over that any day. Heck, I'd even take more 80's!

Of course not. But I would assume that the forumers are the majority of the ones "pining" (what a weird word) for Prog and Classic Rock. Of course, I have no sales data and request data except for the Facebook app and the public Xbox sales data, which both are incomplete.

I trust HMX's judgement in giving the fans what they want to the best of their ability. Naive? Maybe. But I trust them.

"I Want to Know What Love Is", "The End of Heartache", it's all the same.

    Expand thy vocabulary!

    pine
2    [pahyn] Show IPA verb, pined, pin·ing, noun
    verb (used without object)
    1.
to yearn deeply; suffer with longing; long painfully (often followed by for ): to pine for one's home and family.

I trust that they're making the best business decisions for themselves. Which is all we can ask and expect them to do. The fact that it doesn't match up with what we'd prefer is unfortunate, but that's pretty much it.

Not bad, not bad at all. Generic 311 pack, but that's expected, so I'll take it.

Continue on with your petty arguments peeps.

And at least there's a Pro upgrade this week. I had kinda worried after last week that they were abandoning that.
