Shockwave, Road Rage, Blast Notes, Bottle Rocket, Flame Notes, Runaway Note, and Pinball are all on a flat scale (with the exception of Pinball scaling to its own tune independent of the multiplier)

If I'm remembering everything, the rest should all be dependent on multiplier level, with the exception of Synchrony, of which I am completely unsure of

    But doubler and jackpot?

I understand Flame notes are subject to Doubler and Jackpot. Pinball is not. Unsure about the other purples.

"Boy, I think this time I'll just completely forget multipliers and make sure to hit as many OD notes as possible and sit on the vox sustains."

    Shockwave: 49,680

I must have misinterpreted what you originally asked because I can't make heads or tails of this post

Point Doubler and Jackpot are scaled completely with the current multiplier, meaning they're completely dependent on the multiplier. Flame Notes are on a flat scale, meaning it is completely independent of the multiplier (though as you said, the actual points you get from Flame Note at 1,500 can vary depending on if you're using Point Doubler to get 3,000 or Jackpot to get 4,500)

I'm actually not sure if Jackpot only gives you 4,500 on Flame Notes or not or if it scales with the multiplier

If it wasn't for the fact that people have posted about finishing it I would swear Cherry Shockwaves was impossible.

Yeah, but the key aspect of Road Rage IMO is the fact that it cuts across multiple lanes. Its randomness can be annoying at times, but it can help out quite a bit in raising multipliers (especially in conjunction with Blast Notes), whereas Bandmate can only do that in a very limited and indirect way by allowing you to focus on other lanes. Plus, I find it easy to forget at times when it's active and I'll instinctively move over and hit notes that are already hit and break Blitz mode. I still can't see myself using it very often at the expense of Jackpot or even Road Rage on most songs, but I definitely no longer consider it virtually worthless.

Jackpot effects blast notes I believe.

    50,715. Attempt #18.

I did an activation in the first gate (in a dense section after I had enough OD), since I still had enough OD notes left to fill back up for the "you-oo-oo-oo" section that Riles et al have been referring to. Second was in the first chorus just before the guitar OD notes for the "you-oo-oo-oo" section, third was in the middle of the second verse somewhere, and then I just fired the rest when I had ~3/4 a bar and hit a dense section. Lowest Shockwave I got was about 6.2k.

I played for OD notes and bumped up the multipliers when I could, not playing for full score. I got crappy Blast Note placement (only one during a unison phrase, and half-way through it). Still squeezed out the goal and picked up enough for gold stars to get my coins back (oddly, despite missing two multipliers, I still pulled 375k).

Essentially, you need to completely shift your playstyle for this one and sit on vocal sustains (where you may not normally) to squeeze out the extra OD to get another activation (which would bring you from just below the goal to just above it). Favourable Blast Notes would probably help, but yeah, this might be one of the toughest goals to date.

My observations have shown that Bandmate works exceptionally well with songs whose overdrive burn at a pretty slow pace, such as Band on the Run and The Kill
