Can anybody give me a hint on the "Bandmate on the Run" Goal? I normally don't use the Bandmate powerup, so I am not familiar with the strategy. I've tried the song at least a dozen times and I only achieved 71.000 points with the bandmate powerup.

It seems long notes don't get much points, e.g. when I have the powerup active on the last long note, the score does not increase. Is that correct?

So I have used Super Guitar and activated the powerup always on the Guitar lane. Anything else I should look out for (besides playing all the white notes I can and maybe activate it before white notes appear on the Guitar lane).

get the overdrive up to full before you deploy it. I think I was using Super Guitar so make sure you deploy on the "Super" track. Then keep it going by continuing to collect white overdrive notes.

Yeah, I always did that right after the second Checkpoint, but still did not come close to 80.000

Great, now I got over 80.000 points with Bandmate but Rock Band World does not recognize it.... grrrrrr

Well, I left the goal, started it again, on the second try, I scored over 80.000 points with the bandmate powerup again. I played another song after that. That song shows up in my stats, the Band on the Run show up in my stats (e.g. in a scarvenger goal, so I know the data was submitted), but Bandmate on the Run only shows 0 points out of 80,000 (I have a screenshot that shows I did over 80.000) -why does Harmonix want me to hate Paul McCartney and this song? I sure as hell know I won't be playing it again sometime soon. So could anybody look into that matter and send me my well deserved coins?

Are you playing the rght song? If you are playing the live version, you're never going to get it. Based on the difficulty you're having I'm pretty sure you need the other version. The overdrive in it burns a lot slower, and the bandmate will cruise through a lot of the song if you keep picking up the silver notes.

Well, thanks for your input, of course I only have the live version and was not aware there is another version available.

Can I get some points any way, because that was much more difficult dear HMX team.

Was it really too obvious of a choice to use the song "Shockwave" for the shockwave powerup challenge? Seemed like a no brainer to me.

I love the powerup based goals, decided to use Super Guitar & Bandmate on the guitar track for BOTR, passed the requirement easily.

PS Anyone want to help me complete Play For Long Time? Only missing Opeth & Deep Purple. Also interested in Doolittle as well http://www.facebook.com/rufust.barleysheath.5
