People DO hear you sing on Vocals online.

At least for the 360 they do.

Was singing a song online in challenge mode with a guitarist and bassist. I asked him if he could hear me while I sung (I could hear an echo of myself coming from the headset) he gave me a yes.

I turned off the headset and sung with just the microphone so I couldn't hear him if he was saying anything. After song was over, he told me that I was still heard.

Dunno if this applies to the Quickplay mode. Or if its just my settings that make em hear me.

    Anyone having same problem?

I don't know why that is a problem. You should be able to hear the singer. After all the singer is the front of the band and if they don't want to be heard then don't sing.

I can't believe that this is true. Lag is still an issue, everyone has different audio options on their TVs, so it's technically not possible that everyone else hears the singer. Or let's say, it may be possible, but it would be out of time for most of the other players, so I don't think HMX made this possible in RB3.

and did you have an ps3 camera connected? cause that might be why they could hear you without you holding down a button
