That's what is great about the ignore feature. You will see the same rude people every week in the DLC annoucment threads. Just ignore them. They like to claim they are spurring conversation and giving constructive critisicm, but they are really just key board commandos.

In all honestly I've never understood how anyone can be so thin skinned they need to use the ignore function. I mean it's random internet anony-mouses, it's not really going to affect my self esteem whether they like me or not, and I don't need my opinions to be validated by them.

Whatever you need to do to get though the day. Different folks have different issues.

but there's also the problem with the ignore feature that it posts a message usually 3 times the size of the average post by that person (which is often even more annyoing), and of course as soon as someone quotes the person you're ignoring you'll still see the message

The point is that we all have our opinions and that we all don't think alike. So if you accept that then you really don't need a reason to put anyone down, but if you don't accept it then you just might be the next Grinch who ends up stealing Christmas for everybody.

I would just say "Eh" it would bother me as much because I know the person is being a **** and it has nothing to do with the thread which I don't understand why people post insults since the thread is about a specific topic and not about insult each other.

I have definitely matured thanks to the mods on here and to my online friends. Honestly people in the real world aren't very mature in any sense (at least where I live it seems), so i just use the good ones on here as a stepping stone to what i want to be like!
