Since we're talking MST3K, this thread is as good as any to post this.

This Thursday Rifftraxx will be riffing Birdimic live. Cinemark theater chains will be carrying the broadcast.

I took a bunch of friends to the last one, Manos: Hands of Fate. I warned them that it was horrible but I don't think the realized it's full magnitude until they had to sit through it.

Sometimes making fun of movies take guts.

For the most part. There may have been a few of the same jokes but it wasn't noticeable.

Edit: Also, Joel was the head writer during Mano's MST3K showing, RiffTraxx is Mike, Kevin, and Bill. So the styles are a little different.

As I've previously explained somewhere or other, with the extended deadline there'll be no excuses for the lazy voters to get their registration card, familiarize themselves with the pertainant issues, do some personal research, decide which candidate supports their most critical issues and cast a vote. Then there's still time after the election to party before the end of the world 9 days later when Scott87 turns off the switch.

I just realized we are 4 days away from electing a new forum president (12/12)... Any closing arguments from the Seaver family, Brower, Stabone, Grohl, or other candidates? If not, it looks like Maggie (Lawdog?) will run away with it this year and be responsible or us falling off the financial cliff.
