I have to think that it's a very good thing that Harmonix continues to sign on new bands to this spunky little sideshow that we call "Rock Band".

Hey, the possibility of there being pro upgrades for the Mega-Green Day week is good enough for me.

Didn't they pretty much confirm that none of the GD export songs are getting pro upgrades? You could still hope for a track from Dos! I guess.

I was paying really close attention to that thread and even I am left somewhat confused on the final word on this subjust. My impression was that no Pro Guitar / Bass upgrades were planned, but that they were probably technically possible (and thus it's not foolish to hope for them, someday). I guess I'm going to have to find the actual quote now.

If they find that they are able to do it, we'll see if the schedule will allow us to sneak a few Pro upgrades into the next batch of Green Day DLC so there's some new content for people that previously exported. We're listening, honest. "

I emphasized the important part. Don't get your hopes up. Same goes for anyone expecting anything new on top of 4 packs with a total of 40 songs in one week.

But you know the GD week is gonna suck, for pretty much all parties concerned. Whenever it comes.

I think you mean all parties except for those that never bought GDRB.

We are also pushing really hard to release something new new alongside the GD week, even if it's just one new song. It depends on what the production schedule will allow. Again, no promises, but the message from the forum community was received loud and clear with the last GD release so we'll do what we can to offer some variety.

Still working on this as well. Again, this is something that we pushed for after announcing the last GD pack, so we're somewhat restricted by the production timeline, especially since content needs to be submitted to first party 4-6 weeks in advance. But we hope to include a couple of Pro guitar upgades in the next GD release.
