We are also pushing really hard to release something new new alongside the GD week, even if it's just one new song. It depends on what the production schedule will allow. Again, no promises, but the message from the forum community was received loud and clear with the last GD release so we'll do what we can to offer some variety.
Still working on this as well. Again, this is something that we pushed for after announcing the last GD pack, so we're somewhat restricted by the production timeline, especially since content needs to be submitted to first party 4-6 weeks in advance. But we hope to include a couple of Pro guitar upgades in the next GD release.

VERY happy to hear there may be a new song/pro with the rest of GDRB for those who already have it. I personally would love to see more Green Day from the new albums or whatever else you could get from them. Even just to hear that you're trying is really exciting to me. I personally support the decision to release the rest of the game as DLC, but I'd still love to see something that I don't already have if it's reasonable to have happen. You guys are awesome, it's really a shame that there's been so much complaining over this. Thanks for even trying to do that for everyone.

I think you mean all parties except for those that never bought GDRB.

Not me. I didn't buy it. On the day the rest of the GDRB songs are released, I'll be trying hard to keep from crying (not from happiness). But, HMX has told me pretty straight up that my opinion doesn't matter to them anymore.

Eh, whatever. They've built up enough good will in me over the years that I'll keep coming back here every Friday for a while yet. The world is not ending, and neither is my interest in RB (yet). Just the DLC. My no-buy record was just 1 week shy of being equaled this year (although I kind of cheated by buying the Paramore and Iron Maiden packs that I didn't really want). I have a feeling it'll be shattered here soon, though.

Why am I rambling and complaining so much? I don't know. Maybe cuz I'm an old man. We old men get cranky when our needs aren't met. I'm only 30!

Reasoning? The clue that we'll be getting artists new to Rock Band over the next few weeks. I've never heard of this artist/band before but they are currently in the top ten of the Billboard Top 100 charts. It's from a modern artist so that fits the DLC patterns released recently. It's a band/artist that I do not really have any desire to listen to, let alone play in the game. Finally, HMXHenry said that they are tying to get new material to go along with the Green Day re-releases.

I appreciate this and even though it's of no use for me as i bought the physical game long ago, is there a posibilty to do this with games that AREN'T EXPORTABLE on some consoles, namely RB1, Lego or even packs of RB:B for the Wii? Green Day:RB is extremely niche and i think releasing some songs from these other titles would serve better to users than this.

Heck i can't even play RB1 anymore on the wii because my new instruments aren't compatible. sigh.
