DLC Prediction thread for 10/9

Problem is their song was a single, and deep cut was specified. That eliminates every logical band aside from Harvey Danger and The Donnas. Neither band is really active at the moment either, so that throws another curve ball. I do have to say I see it being Flagpole Sitta over anything by The Donnas.

I'll give the list another look but if deep cut is to mean non-single, then I don't see anything else there(maybe Billy Squier?)

Squier is a big possibility as well.

Are Plain White T's responsible for Hey There Delilah? If so, I've been expecting that song for years.

Or maybe the person who wrote the tweet is a dum and the one song wasn't really such a deep cut.

Well that's why I did list bands such as The Plain White T's and Godsmack and it keeps Beck in play, but it sure seems that if it was a band with a single then it would be an unsuccessful one.

@GNF, yes but it is an acoustic guitar/vocals only song(unless they chart the other strings to bass and/or keys). Not to say we won't get it especially if it's been requested enough, but it does seem an odd fit especially this close out from blitz.

Looked up "Flagpole Sitta" to see if I had an "Oh that song" moment as well. I've never heard this before, but I do like it quite a bit, I'll be picking it up if that is the case.
I'd also like to say for the few people saying it could be Muse (here and on Twitter), don't you think Harmonix would either A) Make a press release if we ever got them back or B) Have a pack for them as opposed to just 1 or 2 more singles? I mean, I guess if Harmonix randomly decided to start doing packs and singles in the same week again then this'd be irrelevant, but I doubt they would start again so abruptly.

Counting the Green Day song as a reason for is silly as we're getting all of the songs on the game. But as I said it is possible if it's been requested enough, but doesn't seem too likely in my eyes.

I thought the same about flagpole sitta because of the licensing issue, but things can change.

Billy Squire would be cool and seems possible. I will hope for Flagpole Sitta though.
