The re-recorded greatest hits comes out next week, so it's possible.
ELO would be awesome. If we ever got them, I'd hope it would be bigger than a 3-pack.

Tuesday night, I had my second "vivid" Rock Band DLC dream (the first was the epic Kenny Loggins dream which I detailed a month or two back).

In the dream, I explicitly saw the following two singles, along with artwork, in the "Blitz" music store:

    Heart - Never
    Eddie Money - Shakin'

Which is weird because I totally forgot that Heart sang that, and literally had not thought of or heard that song in 20 years before seeing it in the dream. And subconsciously, if I was going to pick DLC for Heart, "Never" wouldn't even be in the top 15 or 20.

The Eddie Money part I blame on his insurance commercial.

I find it unlikely that next week's offering will be more tempting to me than the 30+ tracks left on my main wish list of discounted legacy tracks ... even given that new tracks can have harmony and keys and the automatic thrill of "hey, new Rock Band songs!" [and Pro Guitar / Bass, but I have a few upgradable legacy tracks on my list as well]. A lot of the guesses posted in this thread would indeed jump to the top of my wish list, but mostly just the ones that are guessed every week with no explanation other than "because I want it and we haven't been told explicitly that it's not going to happen, so why not?"

Why not indeed. Keep on dreaming. Except for you fans of that 4-lettered band, because we HAVE been told that they aren't coming any time soon [and if they ever do return, it'll be a recent track that nobody wants].

Speaking of dreaming, that is one amazing RB4 setlist you have there in your signature. TOO amazing - where's the filler? And by "filler" I also mean "songs I've never heard of but turn out to be pretty cool or even awesome", like so many other on-disc songs have been.

Maybe you could update that list, if only as a DLC wish list [RB4? c'mon already], by replacing songs we've already gotten as DLC, and taking out Tool, since it sounds like they are pretty firmly in the "not interested in being in games like this" category. Unless that's a serious pain to do, what with all the YouTube links and everything.

I fear for the coming 2 weeks. I don't want anyone I want because then it would just be a sad single or 2-pack.

The list will be 2 years old come January, it was made during a time when RB4 actually did seem like a possibility. I thought some of that symphonic/power metal stuff I had on there could fit your definiton of "filler," but maybe you are a fan as well. I'd give it one more look though, cause Tool's not on it and I'm not sure why you mentioned that.

I thought about doing like a 25-pack of songs that could be released to celebrate Blitz's year-anniversary or something in the future, so maybe I'll make that little setlist sometime soon. Glad to see people actually look at the links in signatures.
