Rocker Billy Squier had a string of hits during the 80s, as well, two of which will make their way to the Rock Band Music Store next week: “The Stroke,” the debut single from 1981’s Don’t Say No and the opening track from 1982’s Emotions in Motion, “Everybody Wants You,” which held on to the top spot of Billboard’s Hot Mainstream Rock tracks for six weeks straight!

All three tracks will be available as singles on the Rock Band Music Store; a Pro Guitar and Pro Bass Upgrade will be available for “The Stroke.”

Additionally, Rock Band Blitz players who play any of these tracks will earn double coins for each play, as well as double coins for each time they play Billy Squier’s “Christmas Is the Time to Say I Love You,” which was previously released on the Rock Band Music Store!

Available on Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation®3 system (October 9th, 2012):

    • A Flock of Seagulls – “I Ran (So Far Away)” O
    • Billy Squier – “The Stroke” X O
    • Billy Squier – “Everybody Wants You” O

(These tracks will be available in Europe on PlayStation®3 system October 10th)

Tracks marked with “O” feature support for keyboards; tracks marked with “X” will offer Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for $0.99 per song.

    Price:

    $1.99 USD, £.99 UK, €1.49 EU (160 Microsoft Points ™, 200 Wii Points™) per song

Will buy all. Will be awaiting Tuesday like a kid waiting for Xmas for Billy Squier – “Everybody Wants You”

I remember a carnival coming to town when I was a teenager with some mini-roller-coaster kind of ride that blasted that song continuously. Rode it again and again.

Classic rock. Taking old farts back to their childhoods since... well, a long damn time.

    I'll take it!
I enjoy frothing at the mouth, scaring pedestrians at the park and looking cute for photos.
