Long Live ROCKBAND !!!

I have a thread, that I need to update, that you can use to gvet a rough figure for this. It doesn't include disc songs but I might add a section for that.
I'll just say it is closer to what GNF said. The rule of 3 isn't is way more common than the rule of 1(which I believe is actually the most common). In fact, between 1 and 2 singles I think that may make up about half of releases.

Among the big songs coming to RBN from Ozone!!
I sense something cool coming soon. Look for an announcement before the end.
Other games don't have the same standard as hmx when it comes to masters. Since we're not seeing them now it's likely the masters aren't good enough or the artist/label didn't want to licenese them(at least not now). There's no reason why hmx would not have asked about 2 of his biggest hits.

Umm.. The question has already been asked. It is just not being released yet. Oh and the masters are fine.

The masters may need to be re-stemmed/mixed for HMX, but they're already in Pro Tools or whatever. No biggie. Unless Billy is asking a lot more for that song (I'd be surprised as The Stroke is better known) or there are some other publishing concerns with writers, you can bet Lonely is the Night is in the queue.

It was also used in Guitar Hero 5 as a master, so all parts seem to be useable.
My theory is that the Billy Squire songs have some crazy licensing restrictions and believe the week we only got Drive by Incubus was the original week we were supposed to get these but they had to be taken down due to complications.

My theory is that HMX wanted to release three 80s songs this week. This isn't the first time they've mixed and matched and then released more from previous artists. (See Tears for Fears.)
The bigger question to me is, where is Somebody Told Me by The Killers? They have pretty much everything else by them.

This actually isn't too bad. Nothing great enough to compel me to start playing again and definitely not on the top of my buy list, but I actually sort of like those songs. Which makes this the first week since possibly July that that's happened. And Billy Squier is the closest we've gotten and closest we're going to get to classic rock, so this week is a plus.
