Lionel Richie - "Running with the Night"
Camel - "Lady Fantasy"
Type O Negative, Bad Brains, Madonna
More:
Dire Straits, Interpol, The Strokes
I might get "I Ran" and "Everybody Wants You". Definitely getting "The Stroke".
Thank you Harmonix for making Tuesdays worth rocking.
Let's all raise our glasses for five of the best years of our lives.
The idea that we license everything in batches of 3 and "save" songs for later is mostly a myth. The 3 pack just happens to be the most standard set of DLC we release. There have been plenty of instances where we've tried to license 3 songs and only gotten approvals for 2 and weren't able to find an alternate in time, or only received a single, or got a single then went back and licensed more from the band, etc. We don't usually license songs, release some of them, and then sit on one of them for an extended period of time.
Excellent week. I look forward to Tuesday.

Who do I have to get drunk in order to get "Red Solo Cup" in Rock Band?
Flattered, but I'm not even sure why I'm referenced here. While I like new wave (and I will get I Ran, just as I did get the Cutting Crew song...) my three big schticks are Prog, 70s, and Canadiana. 80s New Wave wouldn't exactly be a defining mark of my hijacking the licensing team.
I admit I am woefully underschooled in the works of one Billy Squier. To date I've been more of a Chris Squire man.
(edit) Ah, I know The Stroke, just never knew it by name+artist. I will get that. The other song is new to me but will will get strong consideration once the charts are on the tubes.

I had a feeling billy was most likely due to the licensing issues with flagpole sitta and the donnas not being that big. Still was hoping for flagpole.
I did sense an 80s one hit wonder coming.

Again fantastic, now I'm hoping we get can some 70's songs soon!
