Since this is the year anniversary of the community Rock Band thread I thought in celebration we'd talk about what TAG is going to be doing for the NEXT year. So here's an advanced 'look' at what we'll be bringing to you later in 2013.

This stuff is still a ways out. We've got our current pile of fun to get through, but we wanted to do something special for the thread in honor of the year mark so here goes!

Since I started TAG there's been some watershed bands (at least for me) that I've been chasing since even before we released our first piece of DLC. We finally locked down a lot of them and so I'm proud to announce a VERY early look at what you can expect in 2013 (later half of) from TAG.

    You should probably sit down

    The return of Fearless Records
    American Head Charge
    Slightly Stoopid
    Black Light Burns (Wes Borland)
Early Avenged Sevenfold (first two albums)
    Sublime
    Children of Bodom
    The return of Subpop records
    In Flames
    Brendon Small/Dethklok

It's been a hell of a year for us at TAG.

2013 is going to be even better.

See you all next announcement thread and everyone keep rockin!

    Whoa! Nice job!

Looking forward to these being released.

No, I think that one was the PUSA guy. Although, yea, the EMI guy might not've actually been authorized by EMI. We'll never know for certain, of course.

There was PUSA in the RBN at one point? Damn, that would have been awesome.

I just stopped reading the thread to say holy freaking jesus In Flames and Children of Bodom?! I would've NEVER expected either of them (or many of the other announced ones) to come through the RBN. This. Is. Win.

Brand New Key re-record sounds good to me. I've only heard the original once, though, so I don't really know the difference.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but the Sublime stuff will probably be from the first two albums, since the third was on MCA. This means no "Santeria", "What I Got" or "Wrong Way".

We could still get "Date Rape" though.

TAG, correct me if I'm wrong.
So long, farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, good night.

Here is a list of Sub Pop artists and the songs I'd most like from them.*

If a title is in bold, it is because I believe the song could work well in RB and/or I want it most.

If a title is green, it is because the song has a deep, personal connection to me, or a past experience of mine, and I desperately want to be able to sing my life's story through these songs. I hope you'll help me with this objective of mine, TAG.

    The Shins

    Caring Is Creepy
    One By One All Day
    Know Your Onion!
    Girl Inform Me
    Kissing The Lipless
    Mine's Not A High Horse
    Young Pilgrims
    Fighting In A Sack
    Turn A Square
    Sleeping Lessons
    Turn On Me
    Spilt Needles
    Girl Sailor
    A Comet Appears

    Band of Horses

    The First Song
    Wicked Gil
    Our Swords
    Weed Party
    Detlef Schrempf
    The General Specific
    Cigarettes, Wedding Bands
    Islands On The Coast

    Flight of the Conchords

    Bowie
    Foux Du Fafa
    Think About It
    Leggy Blonde (ft. Rhys Darby)
    Hurt Feelings
You Don't Have To Be A Prostitute
    Sugalumps
    Carol Brown

    Iron & Wine

Pagan Angel And A Borrowed Car
    Boy With A Coin
    The Devil Never Sleeps

I love Iron & Wine, just not sure how well his songs would translate into RB -- hence the small number of songs. He is still my fifth favorite artist of the twelve named here.

    Fleet Foxes

    White Water Hymnal
    Ragged Wood
    Pink Houses
    He Doesn't Know Why
