Joining the likes of Steve Vai and Bumblefoot, another guitar virtuoso is coming. Hailing from Brazil, Kiko Loureiro of the Brazilian power metal band Angra is hitting the RBN. Three of his songs will be arriving, including fan-favorite "Headstrong", as well as two songs from his new album Sounds of Innocence, "Conflicted" and "El Guajiro".
While this is not Angra, it is still very awesome! Looking forward to these.

In my defense your favorite band is about as repetitive as they get. So that criticism really lacks credibility.

oh wow. American Hi Fi. There's a band I haven't heard in years. It'd be cool if you can get Flavor of the Week.

I was wondering why this thread had 8 pages already, and then I read Noble's announcement. Damn, man. That's some good stuff.

Also want to give a warm welcome to VolTRH and Secret Project Authoring. Always nice to have new folks around here, and I'm definitely digging those Kiko Loureiro tracks. Very nice stuff.

Anyways, we’ve got a diverse set of songs to announce today. They’re not really news to people who follow us via other places, but they’re worth repeating here for anyone who missed it.

First off, we’re heading into the experimental side again. We’re bringing four songs by experimental artist Re-neg0a0-s8r48s7p. This guy likes to keep things minimal, so expect short songs (for the most part) that may or may not have challenging parts. If that interests you in any way, check out the news post here.

Secondly, in the wake of Discord’s success, we went and got some more brony stuff for you. Four awesome songs that appeal to bronies and non-bronies alike. Check out more details on each song as well as a preview video here, and you can find a set of links to listen to the full tracks here!

Finally, while we don’t have preview videos or a news post for this yet, I felt you guys should know about this. We’ve signed Superfluous Motor, and he is bringing all 5 of the songs on his SoundCloud page! I can only promise fun charts and great music. If you haven’t yet heard this stuff, you need to. Seriously.

That’s all on our end for us folks! Expect more great things coming soon. Maybe some kind of mindblower or two, who knows?

Since this is the year anniversary of the community Rock Band thread I thought in celebration we'd talk about what TAG is going to be doing for the NEXT year. So here's an advanced 'look' at what we'll be bringing to you later in 2013.

This stuff is still a ways out. We've got our current pile of fun to get through, but we wanted to do something special for the thread in honor of the year mark so here goes!

Since I started TAG there's been some watershed bands (at least for me) that I've been chasing since even before we released our first piece of DLC. We finally locked down a lot of them and so I'm proud to announce a VERY early look at what you can expect in 2013 (later half of) from TAG.

    You should probably sit down

    The return of Fearless Records
    American Head Charge
    Slightly Stoopid
    Black Light Burns (Wes Borland)
Early Avenged Sevenfold (first two albums)
    Sublime
    Children of Bodom
    The return of Subpop records
    In Flames
    Brendon Small/Dethklok

It's been a hell of a year for us at TAG.

2013 is going to be even better.

See you all next announcement thread and everyone keep rockin!
The "Rock Band Network is kicking ass!" thread is that way >>>>>>>>

But seriously, man, nice gets! Cannot wait to hear more about them!
    Wishlist:

    Moar Grateful Dead:
    Led Zeppelin (I can dream, can't I?):
    Pink Floyd:
    Moar Who:
    Moar Ratt:
