Lightbulb Possible next Band-Centric game...The guessing game

After the Conditions of TB:RB and GDRB, I would like to make some points

1.The Band must be extremely Mainstream
2.None of their most popular songs are avaliable by now (if more than 6, say goodbye to that band)
3.Huge point: None of the Band Songs have ever appeared in a Guitar Hero

    Thoughs of me:
-The game should be keys and harmonies heavy considering that now it is possible
-The game should follow the TBRB and not GBRB, bringing the dream sequences back
-the game should stick around the rock genre and the genres around it

Useless fact: harmonix is loyal to the periodic table of elements

EU doesn't stand for European. It stands for the Eurythmics.
Thank you Harmonix for making Tuesdays worth rocking.

Those aren't their biggest hits entirely. They've had a 40+ year career with more than 3 sings...

I'm gonna throw this out there now, to get it out of the way.

    Muse.

INB4 haters. They can hate. You can't deny it a)wouldn't sell and b) follows the criteria...

I wouldn't mind a rolling stones game either

Agreed, but they have had Sympathy for the Devil on GH5 and Honkey Tonk Women on Band Hero
You forget they've also had a five pack of singles released for GH5 and 3 songs in rocksmith
SillyStou: What will happen to this place when Rock Band ceases to exist?
RockBandRocker: We will all migrate to the Dance Central forums. It will be like Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt.
Munnchy: Only Flashier, with impeccable dance moves.
RockBandRocker: With more glitter and glam. We will survive

I thought there probably were more, but I haven't played GH5 (only the demo) and Rocksmith I'm awaiting the PC version over here in the UK!

Of course but I was just saying mainly because the OP wanted us to come up with bands that haven't been in a guitar hero game.

It's out..... At least I could have sworn it's been released on steam... Maybe just the demo. If you have the cable already, you can try the demo out at least

Rock Band and RB2 had Enter Sandman and Battery, but that didn't stop GH:M from being made.

I don't think Muse nearly has the same international success as, say, Green Day has. I also feel that it's a bit too early in their career. And I can deny it wouldn't sell well just by looking at their sales figures: compared to Green Day's 65 million records or Aerosmith's whopping 150 million records sold worldwide, Muse has only sold 15 million, which means that Muse doesn't have an audience in several nations. Releasing a game centered around the band would sell well in the US and EU, yes, but worldwide sells would not be as successful. That said, I feel Muse is more suitable to a dedicated track disc, like the AC/DC Live Track Pack (who would have been my first choice for a band-dedicated game but lack the keys and don't seem at all interested in the idea).

That said, my personal choice would be David Bowie.

"But Breaker, we have more than six Bowie songs in DLC!"

    *ahem*...

Rebel Rebel, Diamond Dogs, Changes, Magic Dance, The Man Who Sold the World, Fashion, Star Man, Life on Mars?, Ashes to Ashes, Scary Monsters & Super Creeps, China Girl, the Jean Genie, Golden Years...and the old DLC can finally be converted to have keys and harmonies.

Bowie is one of the highest selling artists in the world (140 million albums worldwide), is still relevant today, and you can't say albums like Ziggy Stardust, Space Oddity, and Diamond Dogs, wouldn't look brilliant in the dream sequences.

Plus, we'll finally get to play this.
Currently waiting for DLC from the following:
    [ ] Reel Big Fish
    [ ] Mew
    [ ] "Weird Al" Yankovic
    [ ] Meat Puppets

I was mainly basing it on where they've placed on the dashboard. I mainly said it to get it out of the way quickly, though I would play it.
