As I have said before there are other games that I am sure are more CPU and GPU intensive that have zero issues, so for this to be causing the issue in RB3 it would have to be some horrifically bad coding.

I will most certainly post an update, I Googled the opening PS3 to make sure I had the proper tools, best I can tell I just need my Torx bit set. Planning on doing this Friday morning. Power of positive thinking aside I have no confidence that this is going to do anything except possibly extend the life of my PS3.
