If LiveOps needs detailed user logs or requests any additional info, I will be sure to post that request here. But until then, there's not really much we can do.
Okay so have you checked in with LiveOps lately Henry? Whats the latest on our bleak server situation?

One that acknowledges that there is an issue or one that says we see no problem in our logs. Is there even a server status page for the RCS anywhere?

    Take this for example.

Didn't see anything like that in this thread did you?

We still do not know if LiveOps sees anything in the logs concerning this, unless I am simply being thick and I am supposed to infer that from a posting made in a thread about Blitz connection issues that it is an answer that applies here as well.

Dude we get it, you don't have any problems, you never get an XMB and you connect to the RCS every time you try unless the servers are down, and that's good, for you at least.
For a vast number of people though and I feel highly confident that it si the MAJORITY of PS3 users despite what is being said, everyone in this thread the bandmates of the people that play FB that do not post here (probably because they think it is futile) and friends of people in those bands having the very same problems. Over the past 3 days when I have had time AND have been able to connect to the RCS and grab a random player and ask them "Have you been having problems connecting TODAY?" the replies have been yes 4 out of 8 times, the remainder didn't even reply, and 3 of the 4 replies came as a message. The one person that had a headset/mic said they had been having problems for weeks.
The question wasn't leading, it was a simple yes or no question.
This sampling really indicates it is affecting a lot of users.
I will continue to try and ask a few randoms this weekend when I am back in town, unless it is fixed which I REALLY hope it is, I'd much rather play with friends than solo until I can connect.
My entire friend list posted last night if they could connect or not (had 12 on)
and out of 12 only 2 connected. If that tells Harmonix anything, it's them and they are too selfish to admit it.

I have about 40 friends on my friends list that play RB3, almost everyone that bothers to play the game anymore has had comments about the servers next to their avatars every night, it is affecting nearly everyone on the PS3, I have no doubt. Was on last night for nearly 2 hours without actually playing any songs before everyone could get connected, and after disconnects and boots etc, we finally started making it all the way through set-lists but were nervous the whole time just anticipating the next problem, not much fun when your anticipating problems all the time.

Hey C... and everyone else 'officially' on this thread and also reading it.

I submitted a ticket (like you suggested earlier).
They are aware of the problem and working on it.

I here's the reply in case anyone is interested....

    Thanks for your patience,

I don't know if it helps much but hey it's something right?

I’ve been affected by the server issues for well over a year now, and the xmb for about as long as I owned the game. Rather than stop buying DLC, I sold my PS3 entirely because of how upsetting it was to try and play with friends only to be denied so many times. RB3 was the only game I played, and there was no point in owning my PS3 if the one game I enjoyed was so broken that I couldn't even play it. Needless to say, I’m never buying anything related to this game again.

    Thanks Harmonix, I appreciate it…

Someone may need to start a new thread with just rock band central server issues for ps3 only as hmxhenry suggested earlier. I would do it but i haven't played in over a week and it could be several weeks before i play again.

Since my first post (10-29-2012 10:20 PM) I am STILL unable to connect! Not for a few songs...few moments...NOTHING. I try several times a night and to no avail...growing tried and very irritated by the lack of resolution. Needless to say I am quickly becoming very disillusioned by the whole ordeal!

    That's great to hear...
Except for the post after yours.. that sounds like it could be a fluke.

Is the communication possibly so broken here that they would not say if they found a problem and fixed it though?
