PS3 RB3 Rock Central Server issues.

I'll continue to check in with our LiveOps teams to monitor server traffic and connection issues, but I want to stress that combining to separate issues like XMB and RCS in one thread makes it increasingly difficult to parse user reports. Additionally, posting lengthy or unnecessarily frequent activity logs only adds to the size of the thread, and spamming the same information on multiple channels (like support, Twitter or Facebook) will only detract from our ability to actually focus our attentions.

If LiveOps needs detailed user logs or requests any additional info, I will be sure to post that request here. But until then, there's not really much we can do.

XMB mode & RBC go hand in hand..
If I didn't have a XMB mode problem.. I would be still connect to the server.

The server is not just dropping me.

Having another post is ridiculous at this point.
also Wii people are having problems and they post here too.

Unless i'm missing something the xmb boot is a separate problem from the rbc issues and it's harder for the developers to look through when multiple issues are all posted in the same thread. I'm not sure what you mean by they go hand in hand as i rarely get an xmb boot but it usually takes several reboots to connect to the rbc server.

the point is this post is about RBC---even my signature states me complaining about the servers.
Everybody posting is mainly complaining about RBC...
But the majority of the time.. after XMB mode happens..
Then comes the no connection mode to RBC.

They way i read it is that this thread is about xmb boots and rbc issues but hmxhenry is saying that combining 2 seperate issues in one thread makes it harder for them so i'm simply trying to separate the rbc issues from the xmb issues.

I'm not trying to argue and there is every chance that i am wrong but as far as i know the xmb boot is hard to reproduce and will likely never be fixed but the rbc server issues can happen anytime you start a game and an xmb boot is not required to be unable to connect as it happens randomly, sometimes it will connect first time but other times you can reboot 6-7 times before it will connect.

Next Henry will complain that we have 3 threads up...
And we know how this distracts the dev team or whatever team.

He can put it here stating whats going on--hence us asking for updates...
I've but reporting since 10-18-2011 as did most people here.

We deserve a update...

I don't want us disagreeing with each other, because a Mod will come in and say.. you guys, cut it out..
then they remove the thread (as done in the past ) and around around we go with HMX again.
And no updates again.

I couldn't agree more! I'm Diamaniacal's friend, and I haven't chimed in on this issue because he has pretty much represented us both in all of his postings, but here I am now.

It's sad, but as I have told Diamaniacal many times, I will happily accept the XMB crashes...as inconvenient as they may be...as long as I can start the game back up and jump back into rocking our songs. I just call it a forced bathroom break.

It's the RBC issue that is frustrating beyond belief, and frankly, unacceptable.

Once Blitz went live, that's when I started seeing the RBC issue again. Previous to that, seems like it was months or earlier this year.

HMX - Please get the RBC server issues fixed. Thanx!

I have edited the OP in the thread and requested that a mod change the title of the thread to remove the reference to XMB crashes.

I got back in town last night about 2AM EST in the morning and was able to connect.
I was also able to connect at 12:00 PM EST today.

I think the one reboot and reconnect is simply the luck of the draw, you attempt to connect at the time when there is an available connection, or when the servers capacity is not currently overwhelmed. I've had one reboot work for me and the person I play with the same, I also reconnect while playing songs solo, or if I just leave it on the main screen long enough.
