PS3 RB3 Rock Central Server issues.

For xmb issues it may be worth starting another seperate thread though i don't know if it is worth it because it is not going to be fixed unless someone can find a way to reproduce it consistently.

Nuttzo I and some others did not interpret his post that way, I've requested the thread title be changed, I edited the OP and the posts ITT are predominately people with RCS issues. While they may not be related when people come and post about RCS issues a great majority of the time it is going to be because the other just happened, so it is deluded to think that is not going to be mentioned in any thread.

Henry posted an update in here and the traffic in here should subside, hopefully he will have gathered the data needed from LiveOps and enough evidence in here to warrant that it needs to be done to get the wheels in motion. I honestly don't expect a fix in the next week, and I hope that no one read that from his post because it didn't even suggest at it. If the problem is identified and the wheels get moving for a fix then this thread will hopefully drift off to the second page, then the third and soon be long forgotten.

I've collected a good deal of information from Live Ops this week (play logs, activity stats, connection rates, specifics of safety nets in place, etc) and hope to have everything pulled together for a post next week before the holiday.

I think that something like this is what we all wanted to hear, I'm hoping for a good weekend of play, but if I don't get it at least for now I feel that an answer is closer.

Logs from Friday 9:00 PM until 2AM EST should be of use, me and my partner as well as online friends all had the RCS issues tonight and the were definitely one of the worst.

Tried 3 or 4 times tonight to connect but it's not happening, tried alternity's suggestions to manually set network and disable upnp but it made no difference.

I have found that switching controllers sometimes helps with connecting, for example, I can't connect with drums, switch to vox (controller) and connect right away, then drop out and join on drums, probably coincidental, but it seems to work nearly every time.

I seriously think this is a coincidence, because I don't know how switching instruments could affect the connection.

But if I recall correctly someone else mentionned this, so I'm confused even more than before.

EDIT: I don't understand this. HMX says we should do two seperate thread for XMB and RCS. Someone does a thread exclusively for the RCS problem, and it get locked.

I lost my connection to Rock Central Friday night. I am currently unable to connect at 2:36 pm EST on Saturday. I have tried multiple times. I am able to connect to the Playstation Network
