I was able to connect at 12:30 ish EST today, after seeing your post I just tried and am also unable to connect. Hang tight I really feel that we are going to get some good news next week.

Still unable to connect at 3:50 pm EST. Have tried after each song I've played. I am able to go to the in-game store. Really hoping this gets resolved so that I can complete some Rock Band World goals :-)

Just some possibly helpful/useless info for HMX...

Tried without any luck connect to RCS from 2:00 - 2:35PM CST and tried a little experiment. If I try to connect while on the QP using the"Find Online Players" screen, the connection attempt resets after about 55 seconds without fail and I have to manually try again. If however I use the "Start" then "Play Online" option it doesn't seem to ever reset (it'll either hang there indefinitely, or so it would seem after waiting for 5 minutes, or eventually connect).

I was able to finally get connected to RCS at around 2:40PM CST

I seriously think this is a coincidence, because I don't know how switching instruments could affect the connection.

But if I recall correctly someone else mentionned this, so I'm confused even more than before.

EDIT: I don't understand this. HMX says we should do two seperate thread for XMB and RCS. Someone does a thread exclusively for the RCS problem, and it get locked.

Yeah i just noticed the thread got locked, some people did not interpret hmxhenry's post that way which has led to a confusing situation where i'm not sure what thread to post in anymore so i'll just stick to this one.

I have found that switching controllers sometimes helps with connecting, for example, I can't connect with drums, switch to vox (controller) and connect right away, then drop out and join on drums, probably coincidental, but it seems to work nearly every time.

I had that happen once. I was protar'ing, and couldn't connect. I figured no big deal, I don't intend to play online when protar'ing anyway. Switch to 5-button and all of a sudden I can access the leaderboards!

I still think there should also be one for the XMB, as people has rage to get out about that too.
