PS3 RB3 Rock Central Server issues.

I guess Dangimarocker is CST, at 1:45 EST I tried to connect and was unable to but connected within 10 minutes sitting idle on main screen, then I saw Dang's post that he couldn't connect I restarted and again am unable to connect.
We are reaching the peak times for EU/UK players, just like happened on Friday and Saturday at the same time in the afternoons, then RCS issues start clearing up somewhat around 6-7PM EST, then around 9PM the RCS get REALLY bad because of peak US usage, it is not until around 2AM EST that RCS issues start to go away. It has been doing this for >2 months RELIABLY.
Restarting the game, turning the PS3 off, adjusting the clock (which let you connect before), swapping instruments, sacrificing chickens or other small animals, none of those do anything, unless you happen to get lucky with the timing.

Well when i never xmb'd offline it started to seem that way.

Well there is a great lack of consistency in your posts and what you say, it is "everytime" "the usual one reboot" or some other variation when if fact it hasn't been every time for you, only most times.

For the record, I live in Montréal, QC, uses Vidéotron as a ISP on a 8.5MBPS connection and I have only little trouble to connect to RCS (rarely more than one restart), and never experienced any RB store issues.

I stated that I had no issues since my cleaning, aside RCS, which one reboot of the game fixed it no trouble. Sooner this week I got one XMB crash, and today I got 2 XMB crash and the last crash took 3 reboot to connect to RCS.

Finally let me on after reloading about 5 mins apart from each reload (took 5 tries)...
This happens to more than just the people on the forum too, many on my friends list are having problems and are not on the forums.

Now that I think of it, It never took me countless of tries, the highest number of tries I've did was 5 or 6, about 2 months ago. I NEVER have a real problem connecting, it always isn't long to connect, compared to a lot of people. Compared to you Diamaniacal, that has always, or almost always problems connecting. My ''troll'' was successful. The timing has nothing to do with it, if it did, I would have as much problems as everyone to connect to RCS.

I keep detailed records of the times when the issues start happening when they are more sporradic and when they are at their worst and ALL (not some or most) of those coincide with peak play times for different regions, now you can take and educated methodical approach to it or you can go the route of sacrificing small animals, changing instruments, setting clocks to DST and back OR you can leave your system on the main screen trying to connect to RCS and it will eventually connect when the load permits it to.

I have to admit, the Rock Central Server will either just not work, or take a few hours to eventually connect when I play ever since RBB came out. Beforehand, I might be able to play a few songs and then suddenly you'd finally be placed on a leaderboard (meaning of course that you were connected to the Rock Central Server)

As for RBB itself, I must admit I just haven't been able to enjoy it as much as I wanted, because of these connection issues. The strange thing is it will connect, but after one song, it will say no longer connected to RCS, meaning that I'd only be able to play RBB in a reasonably vanilla style, which isn't as much fun.

But yeah, it is certainly not fun, and whenever friends see me online, it seems much more often than not I am unable to connect to the RCS.

I did the test today just now. I left the game on main menu for an hour, it never connected. I reboot, I am connected. I never got connected by waiting, I always got connected by rebooting.

When I said the RCS is as random as the XMB, I meant it. Waiting will get you connected eventually, but rebooting the game is a WAYYYY faster way, and anyone on my friend list will say the same. The thing with changing instrument... I tried that too, didn't work.

When I say always, it doesn't mean 100% but more like 99%. One reboot does work 99% of the time. (okey not 99%, maybe like 95%, I didn't count, really, I don't know, but it works) And in the case where one reboot doesn't work, it doesn't take alot of reboots to get it connected.

This problem is as random as the XMB, really. Some people are more affected than other, and that's what I'm wondering about, the ''why' some people are more affect than other.

Also for the thermal paste, it could've. I never said it fixed it, I said it was going way better after it, and I didn't an an XMB crash for quite a time after, and since then, I only had about 5-6 XMB crash, and 3 was in the same night. I play daily, and most people I play with plays daily, and they experience WAYYYY more crashes and connectivity problems than me. It might've help, it might've not help at all and it was a coïncidence, only god knows, and god doesn't exist, so no one knows.

Also, yeah, it happens that I don't say things like I would like to say them, english isn't my primary language, and I don't think the majority of the people understands french, if this was the case there would be no problems.
