:( Nobody responds to my Score Wars

I don't get it. Every single Score War since September ends in a decline or a forfeit. Do I just need more people to challenge?

I know what you mean. The same thing happens to me.

Even worse, it's usually someone else who challenges me, but they never submit a score!
So long, farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, good night.

I know what you mean.. very few players actually want to score war with me
The current score war system sucks. I shouldn't have to be facebook friends with the specific player to arrange score wars, and the in game score war matchmaking is awful. It selects one random song and either a random player or someone on my friends list who only played the game for the 1st week and left.

I decline mainly because I don't have the song for the score war - that's something to keep in mind.
Other times I just don't get around to playing a score war, other priorities.

I do find it weird when someone challenges and never plays the song, that's the problem with the FB system.

Sometimes that doesn't even help. I only challenge people by using the "show only songs you both have" option in FB, and they still never submit a score. After about 5 tries with different people, I've given up. x.x

Personally, I still find the Score War implementation itself mystifying. From day one I have been dumbfounded at Score War options not being a persistant menu option while in the game. Imagine being able to send a score war challenge to anybody available to you thru friends list/facebook from within the game itself at any time. I thought that would have been an obvious thing to do with a game like this, but maybe it's just me.
But I believe in this and it's been tested by research: he who [edit] nuns will later join the church.

I've tried to play as many as I can. I only really decline them if the score they've set is waaaaayyy to high to beat. And i'm talking "You'd need to abuse the system to beat this score" scores.

... This applies to you Zage :P

Because it is easier to do this stuff from FB is the main reason. Implementing it in game means more dev time and testing. They took the path that allowed them the most flexibility. All of this FB functionality will turn out to be a positive for whatever HMX choose to do next as it will only get larger in scope while lending itself to multiple platforms.

My record is pretty awful, but I still submit Score War requests (and then play the song, right away) just about every time I start up the game. But yeah, after the first 3-5 weeks, it went from "most people won't accept my request" to "absolutely no one will accept my request, even my friends who reguarly score much higher than I do". Free points, and no one wants them?

Well, yeah, exactly. Everyone either already has all the points they will ever need, or they have stopped playing entirely. Mostly the latter, it seems. It's fun but nothing comes close to the local multiplayer thrill of a full band performance.

Maybe the new tournaments (which include participation giveaways) will lead a few people to return, briefly. Maybe even me! I haven't played Blitz in about a month, and I keep forgetting about the current tournament when I am home.

Next? So you expect the new Harmonix titles to use the Rock Band World app as well? Or do you mean, "the app they make for their next title [completely unrelated to Rock Band / rhythm games] will also have an app, and they have learned a few lessons on what to do next time"?
