Death on Two Legs.
Death on Two Legs.
kevmaster2000:
"Just thought I'd mention that it's cool to see a Paper Mario fan who also appreciates death metal. Great job!"
That was my guess as to how it might work. I care not about the details, just that it can be done. And, word is, it can be done. Hooray!
With Pro Guitar / Pro Bass upgrades being offered for 2 of the Green Day DLC songs, I'm going to put the odds of this happening at "something greater than 0%" now.
I'd most like:
Shine
Once Bitten, Twice Shy
Jessie's Girl
Metal Health (Bang Your Head)
But, honestly, I would buy any and all Pro upgrades offered for the Blitz songs.

Death on Two Legs, no contest.

I have little doubt the rest of the Blitz setlist will eventually be made available for Wii. Just like how nearly all RB1-era DLC (all but a few covers) was eventually released while RB2 was the current core title. But it's probably true that the front-runners for any upgrade would be the first three, since they're on all three consoles.
Reminder: the Wii DLC songs were
•Barenaked Ladies – One Week
•Foo Fighters – These Days
•Queen – Death on Two Legs
That would be awesome.
They have noted that the Pro upgrades sell MUCH better when offered for brand new DLC, which makes a lot of sense to me. So I guess that would suggest that Pro Guitar / Pro Bass upgrades would be offered at the same time that additional Blitz songs come to Wii, as DLC (if that ever happens)? And yet, that shouldn't really be a factor, as Pro sales on the Wii must be only a tiny fraction of the total sales, and the songs are only "sort of" new on the other two systems by now. My fingers are still crossed that this will indeed happen, for a Blitz song or three, at some point.
I'd like to think that there's enough pent up demand that, by offering the occasional legacy upgrade (two a month?), they would all sell really well, to just about everyone that buys Pro upgrades in the first place. But that might just be wishful thinking out of me.
I haven't played them yet but I did indeed buy both Green Day Pro Guitar / Pro Bass upgrades yesterday, what an exciting surprise to have Harmonix offer them.
