Loud Background Noise in Song Selection

Please Harmonix if you release another RB3 patch allow us to turn off the very loud jet engine noise in the song selection screen. On some stereos it's too loud! Some people just want to hear the music.

Wow, I was hoping there was maybe some work around. Why is something so obviously annoying not an option to turn off? And now there's no updates being planned in the near future. Software updates are far and few between as it is.

I think it might be under the audio options as FX or something, because it isn't that loud when I'm playing.

It could be your sound system. I have an Onkyo and no matter what mode I put it in, the Jet sound is what I consider too loud.

Then again, I'd prefer no back gound traveling filler sound. I only want to hear the song previews, nothing else.

They could have solved this by adding an "Ambience" volume slider. It would turn down the jet etc. noise, as well as the drum freestyle cheering.

Weird, none of my friends or I notice it, but it annoys the crap out of my dad, and apparently many people here too

Yeah it's always annoyed me, and a couple of my friends brought it up also. I didn't even mention it initially to them either.
