We have "Accidentally in Love" by Counting Crows, so they aren't missing. But I'd certainly like to see Mr. Jones and some other tracks.

For (on-disc) songs in the past where I've hated the vocals or the lyrics (Drain You, for instance, has lyrics that make my skin crawl) I enable a vocalist player and then turn the vocal volume down to nothing With no fail on and with RB3's ability to score you as a solo player when in multiplayer mode, it works as normal and the song becomes a cool instrumental. Except for the crowd singalong on disc songs, I suppose.

Nope. Slowhand is one of those who is famously artistically opposed to a game that does not teach "real guitar". He could change his mind, I guess, but I wouldn't count on it.

PowerGig does not teach "real guitar". RB3 does.

I thought I was the only one who hated his voice and felt like a small and petty person. He's clearly talented, and I totally understand why the band has so many fans, I just don't want to listen to him. The music is actually pretty catchy. I suspect I'll actually enjoy playing these songs with me or my friends acting as the vocalist instead.

actually these songs might be fun in RB. the drums look fun. and since you can turn the vocals volume down to 0, you won't have to listen to his annoying whiny voice while you play them. almost makes a couple of these tracks sound tempting.

Wow for the first time since I can I remember a band in my sig has come to Rock Band, Ants Marching was no-brainer and I understand Mercy being here since it's there new material and although I dig So Much To Say I would of prefered Two Step or Tripping Billies but great job HMX I thought DMB would never arrive....

I'm not a fan, but this is still a tremendous get. It's top-20 of the FB req app, it's a level of artist prominence that many had thought was now beyond HMX's new-artist reach, and it's a sign that Power Gig launch artists ... if they had exclusivity then, they don't anymore. Maybe they had 2 year exclusivity. Maybe this means Clapton on our horizon.

Too true, other Mark. My first thought upon seeing this pack was "Please let this mean Clapton is impending." Of course, I always wondered if the Clapton exclusivity extended to Cream or Derek & the Dominos, which I'd prefer anyway.

Was Kid Rock the only other PG exclusive? I'd probably get Bawitdaba (or however) for the lolz.

Also, while I don't love DMB, I do enjoy a few. I'll get the pack, but would hope to see a follow up with:

Crash Into Me
Don't Drink the Water
Stay (Wasting Time)

Also, missed opportunity to have released their song "Halloween" last week, which i think is one of the most genuinely unsettling songs I've ever heard.
