What's going on with this? Does the guy need some donations? It's one of the reasons I enjoy RB3 so much, this simple just-the-facts scoring website. Last updated scores I have are from Nov 6 - this site is necessary..
The problem is the leaderboards API, the guy who takes care of this website has said that in the news.
''2012-11-14 - There is another issue with Harmonix's leaderboard downloads. I have filed another ticket and they are looking into it.'' - Taken from the homepage.

I usually rotate through all of the instruments when I play. But I noticed that the guitar hasn't updated since 10/18 and the other instruments have updated as recent as 11/8.
I'm tempted to drop the link between RB central and my Xbox in an effort to keep my high scores updating. I have to assume that the score would update on the system if I were not linked. Does anyone know this?
Also, I'm a bit surprised that there doesn't appear to be a response from HMX in this posting. Even a "We're looking at it" would have been appropriate.
Part of the satisfaction that I get from playing Rock Band is seeing how close to my "Best Song Performance Ever" I can get with each song I play. I use a simple formula that compares my score with the highest ever score recorded on that instrument. I'm surprised how much less fun it is for me to play the game when the data that rockbandscores.com compiles isn't able to be updated, as has been the case for most of the last month. At least I still get to see my "Top Rock Band Performances of the Week" auto-posted to my Facebook page. If that feature went away too, I suspect that the amount of time I spend playing the game would start to drop, maybe rather significantly.
I'm a little surprised by this, because I never play the game aiming to set a worldwide #1. I'm just not that good, and I would have given up long ago if that was my main goal. But it turns out that I DO care about my scores, I've just got more realistic goals to aim for, which involve improving my personal stats. The game will still tell me if I set a new personal best, but I can no longer use this site to see (the next day, usually) what my previous score was, and how many times my score has improved over the years. I can no longer sort by useful stats to try and calculate what are likely to be my "worst" individual song permormances (almost always set by guests), by instrument, the ones dragging my skill points down the more. Sure, there are other ways I can get most of this same information, but it's so much more tedious and it's no longer a process that this stat geek finds FUN.
tl;dr = I really hope that Harmonix is taking this "ticket" seriously, and that it's something they are able to fix easily in the near future, and that it will stay fixed for a good long time.

Yeah, it really sucks that I can't track scores and progress. RB World is ok for that, but no where near as good, as user friendly, or as easy to use.

Every day to see my progress. I noticed right away that this wasn't working, but thought that it was temporary and never said anything to anyone about it. Then the storm hit and for a month I had bigger problems.
Now that my life is getting back to something resembling "normal" I really miss being able to see my progress in this manner.
So, I've read through this thread but I can't determine what the problem is. Is it something that HMX changed or is it something that the website owners aren't bothering with anymore?

The website says there is an open ticket with HMX, so we're waiting on HMX to fix it. It's going on a month now..
